Hilton Park
Hilton Park is made up of father/son team Bruce and Conor Hilton, and neighbor Gregg Pannier. Their stage show includes up to 10 acoustic instruments between Bruce and Conor, plus Gregg's piano. Six and 12 string guitars, dobro, mandolin, bouzouki, Weissenborn, dulcimer and others make the stage look like an exotic guitar boutique. But it's the band's soaring three part harmonies that capture the audience's breath, telling timeless stories that touch people's souls. “ Every song tells a story, and there's a story behind every song” is their mantra. The group's third album, “Moments…” earned them a fourth New England Music Award nomination for “Album of the Year” and the song “Stupid Game” won an Academia Music Award for ‘Best Song', Folk Singer/Songwriter category. Hilton Park shares their unique blend of timeless tales and soulful “blood harmony” with audiences young and old. Bill Copeland Music News said “This trio's real talent is making their listeners feel what they were feeling when they were writing these tunes.” It's “…rootsy folk that imparts an old time feel in brand new songs,” says The Third Half. Most recently, the group was asked to write a song for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and answered with the single, “Your Life Matters”. They have made the song available as a free download to all on their website: www.hiltonparkmusic.com Every story has a song; and Hilton Park continues to weave stories into instantly classic melodies and lyrics. Tickets are $20 with a pre-concert dinner available for $25. Reservations are required for dinner and recommended for the show.
